WoW Blacksmithing Guide 1-450

Blacksmithing creates armor and weapons using metals gained from mining. Blacksmithing will cost a lot of gold to level if your buying everything from the auction house, so I'd recommend mining some of the materials yourself to save some gold.

First, go to the blacksmith trainer in any of your factions main cities in Eastern Kingdoms or Kalimdor to learn Apprentice Blacksmithing.

50 Rough Grinding Stones - 100 Rough Stone
Save 10 of these, you will need them later.

10 Copper Chain Belt - 60 Copper Bar


Go back to the trainer and learn Blacksmithing Journeyman.

75 - 125

12 Coarse Grinding Stones - 24 Coarse Stones
Save 10 of these, you will need them later.

13 Runed Copper Belt - 130 Copper Bar

5 Silver Rod - 5 Silver Bar, 10 Rough Grinding Stone

20 Rough Bronze Leggings - 120 Bronze Bar


Go back to the trainer and learn Blacksmithing Expert.

50 Heavy Grinding Stone - 150 Heavy Stone
Keep making these until you reach 150, you might not need to make them all.
